Chapter 624: THE STORM WILL COME

Once Grace left the room, Cane came closer to Iris, he leaned over and rested his head against her shoulder without saying anything, which made her confused. He didn't put all of his weigh on her and rested his arms on each side of her body. 

"Cane…" Iris stretched out her hand and caressed his head. "Did you hear what Grace said? I am pregnant!" Iris said excitedly. She wanted to cry tears of joy when she heard what Grace told them. She felt her heart was swollen with happiness, but Cane responded to the news very weird. "Are you, okay? Are you not happy?" 

Cane shook his head. "I am, Iris. Very much."
