Chapter 9: Odin's Treasure Vault
Odin's P.O.V.
In this war against dark elves, Odin decided to have Thor and Loki take lead of the battle.
One of the main reasons why Odin did so was because after getting the Mjolnir and awakening his thunder divinity Thor has been getting more and more arrogant.
Thus Odin decided that it was better to let Thor understand that there are many powerful men out there in the universe and also to help him gain some combat experience.
But what Odin didn't expect was for the battle to end so quickly. But what's even more unexpected was that there was a powerful Asgardian strong enough fight Malkeith head to head.
Staring at the young man standing below, Odin didn't sense any huge amount of divine energy. Even he couldn't figure out what's special about him.

Thor bowed towards Odin along with others and started reporting about his battle against dark elves.
"Father, this is Alex .He played a major role in fight against the dark elves but helping in defeating Malketh . "
"Ah.....Alex ! I heard about your meritorious deeds in the war against dark elves. "
Said Odin looking down from his throne.
" It is our Asgard's blessing for a warrior as promising as you to appear in these troubled times. "
Although after sealing Hela,
Asgard has already stopped actively waging wars for expanding their territory outwards and has adopted the non war policy.
But still there are frequent Wars going on to curb the rebellions of the forces under their rule in the Nine Realms.
Alex also replied to Odin while bowing down to him.
" Dear god King Odin, it is naturally my responsibility to fight for the glory of Asgard. "
"Indeed ...you are excellent warrior indeed . But still I would like to reward you for your bravery. "
Said Odin and stood up from his throne . He descended down the stairs dragging his cloak on the floor.
" Follow me, proud warrior of Asgard,Alex to take your reward. "
Subsequently under Thor's encouraging eyes, Alex followed Odin to his Treasure house.
Guarded by the Einherjar, Odin's Vault is a chamber located at the center of Asgard's Royal Palace of Valaskjalf. The Vault is home to many of Odin's exotic valuables.
Odin captured, stole, purchased and did whatever he could to take all the relics and weapons that could bring about Ragnarök, and he locked them away in a vault in the base of his palace, so anything he thought could bring the universe down is now under lock and key.
According to Hela, most of the relics were in actuality useless fakes, such as the Infinity Gauntlet replica, with the exceptions being Mjølnir, the Casket of Ancient Winters, the Crown of Surtur, the Eternal Flame, and the Tesseract and some other not so powerful treasures.
" you are allowed to choose any one of these Treasure except the oned on the altar on the left. "
Odin said while pointing to the place where the eternal Flame , casket of winter and other treasures were stored.
" it's my honor , Your Majesty. "
After that Alex started looking around in the Treasure house for anything useful to him.
After seeing a lot of useless Treasures , his eyes finally fell on a rough wooden bead placed in a corner unconspiciously.
After seeing what Alex put his sights on, Odin explained with slightly reminiscent look in his eyes.
"Ah.... This if I remember correctly is....
