The scruff from his beard scratched slightly against the palms of her hands, and it was something she decided she enjoyed.
It reminded her that he was a man, strong and rugged.
She was used to cleanly shaved men, even Kelly, but she might have to convince him to let his beard grow out a little
bit.
She flexed her fingers a little, feeling him, while he stared down at her with longing in his eyes.
"My wolf is begging me to claim you," he said softly, his breath brushing her face.
She felt his body tense slightly as he fought the beast and guilt washed over her.
"I know, mine too," she assured him.
"I'm sorry."
He shook his head.
"We do this your way, Isla. Most werewolves wait until their mating ceremony anyway."
She pulled away suddenly.
"We are missing Derulo and Manda's mating ceremony!"
Sadness filled her.
