EP 88 - RESCUE MISSION.
"I'm going back!" Avyanna said determined as she headed back towards the mountains.
Percival held her shoulders. "Are you crazy! That would be like courting certain death!"
"We can't just leave him there." Kyra retorted.
"Why do we have to rescue him?" Conrad spoke. "We could just walk away."
"How can we just walk away?" Avyanna asked trying to make them see reason.
"It's super easy. You just put one leg in front of the other, repeat..... see l'm walking away already " Conrad demonstrated.
"We just can't walk away. He might be a dickhead, an asshole and a jerk...But he's still our friend. I'm very sure that he'll do the same for any one of us. " Avyanna said .
"Avyanna's right. We leave no one behind even though trying to rescue him is just going to leave all of us dead." Conrad said siding with Avyanna. "Even as it goes against all my survival instincts, We have to help Levi."
"You mean your Coward instincts right?" Kyra pffted.
"At least, I wasn't the one moaning in the back alley." Conrad fired back.
Percival sighed . It was no use trying to convince them otherwise. "You've have a plan?"
Avyanna nodded, "I think I have a plan."
"We can't involve Tsukiyo and any of the villagers as we need to limit much exposure to the Ushi-Oni. Since its blood is contagious and can change any man into an incubi and a woman into an Ushi-Oni , we need to proceed with caution."
"Hold on ...Did you just say that any man its blood comes in contact with will turn into an incubi?" Conrad asked visibly shaken.
"Being an incubi isn't that bad . Look on the bright side , you have sex very often to prevent you from going insane." Kyra smiled.
Conrad swallowed hard.
"So the plan is..." she drew out her katana and using it to illustrate her plans by drawing lines on the ground. " I , Kyra and Percival will go back to the cave. Since we can't inflict any wound on it to avoid being contaminated, we are going on the defensive. Avoid physical contact with all means possible.we don't want any casualties " Avyanna instructed. "We are dealing with something we can't kill so we are going to send it somewhere that it can't do anymore damage. Once Levi is out of there ...You are going to blow that F******g cave up." Avyanna pointed to Conrad. "Who's with me!" Kyra nodded.
"It was an inspiring speech but I'm not so sure of the turning into an incubi part. I'm just in my twenties don't think I want to live the rest of my having s*x."
Percival shrugged. "What about you Conrad, you coming?"
He rose his hands in acknowledgement. "I would have loved to but you know I just caught a cold ...But I have an even better idea. You , Percival and Kyra should go back to the cave while I go stand waaaaaaay over there as moral support. If paradventure Levi comes out defeating the Ushi-Oni someone should be here to receive him with warmth embrace."
"Not today sucker!" Avyanna put her hand on Conrad shoulders and grabbed his shirt and dragged him in the direction of the mountains as she smiled.
"According to your words Conrad, leave no man behind."
"Now does anybody else have any doubts that I can clear up?"
Kyra and Percival shook their heads nada.
