Chapter 39: Wishes

The king approached and inspected her body. When he was satisfied that he did not see a single bruise, he unclasped the rope on her wrist. "Kaesha… my kaesha…" he said his voice filled with emotion. She felt guilty of her scheme but she hadn't had a choice, she needs to save the girls.

She enveloped the king's face with her two hands. They were in a middle of the hall and the king protected her almost naked body with his cape. "Please let me do this performance and let me kill these rapists and kidnappers of young girls" she begged.

The king growled, didn't say a word but still hugging her so tightly. "I will kill the governor and his wife myself," the king said. He turned and ordered his men to leave them. Only the governor, his wife and their friends were inside the hall.
