RACHEL'S pov.

I glared at him for a moment, then slide off his lap and started eating. I held a drumstick with my left hand, and was shoving fries down my throat with my right hand.

"Slow down, baby, I'm not running away" he said.

"I don't wanna take any chances" I replied.

I saw him signaling Mrs Jackson to leave through my peripheral vision, she smiled and gave him an encouraging thumbs up before leaving.

I stopped eating, and faced him with a questioning frown.

"I thought you're joining me"

"Oh, yeah, but I want you to eat first" he said.

I took a second look at the food, it's much but judging by how hungry I am, hehe, I'm sure I'll finish everything, and it's gonna be his lost if he doesn't join me now.

"Well, suit yourself" I said and continued eating.

I burped softly as I dropped the empty glass back on the tray, my hands subconsciously rubbed my stomach and I smiled.
