From a pitch-black sky, a downpour of rain that was not too heavy nor too light fell, enshrouding the decimated cityscape below with a thin layer of mist.
Despite the entire place having been razed to the ground somehow, the sight of the endless rubble felt so familiar I could tell almost instinctively that it was Weinstell.
All that could be heard was the shower from above, hushed but powerful as if intentionally placed to fit the scene of utter devastation all around, and appearing even to me like the tears of God.
I paused the playback.
Without even getting three seconds into the twelve-second video, it showcased such a tremendous event in such a short span of time that I couldn't even begin to imagine what had occurred.

Hope you've had a fun or otherwise enjoyable Christmas with whoever it may be, and that you can take some time to rest and take care of yourself during the holiday season since life can be quite stressful, especially around this time of year :)
On a side note, because I was unable to do it for Christmas day, I'll be looking to upload a 2x release on New Years next week :) We're gradually nearing the end of the story so I hope you stick around; I don't want to unnecessarily drag it out if I can help it.
