Chapter 99: BAD LUCK

"Ouch" Abigail cried quietly as she felt the pain on her leg intensified, she couldn't identify what she had kicked because the room was still pitch black. 

"Would it kill him to put some night light around here?" Abigail asked in pain as she leaped on the spot. She then turned on the light on her cellphone as she searched for what she had kicked. 

"Damn Desk" Abigail cursed when she saw that it was Xavier's desk she had kicked, she closed her eyes as she gently placed her feet back on the floor. She pointed her phone light to the desk and and saw a closed laptop on it, with a golden metal placed on the table that read "CEO". 

Having injured her leg, Abigail knew that it won't be possible to hide this from Xavier, for sure the man would find out that she had sneaked out to make a phone call.
