Harem And explanation (Chapter 3) (Updated 12/03/2023 or ch15)
First let me address the Harem. This story is tagged as Harem and the OC will get one I have already planned it but will be willing to consider any suggestions but the cap is 5 or 6.

Blake and Weiss (By request has been decided yes for now. However, I am still planning on how to work this in.)
New OC Female Faunus (Name: Altair Luscinia ?????) (Hint to species and potentially parentage. Feel free to attempt to guess.)
If anyone has any other ideas please say as it wont be for a while yet but if I continue the story I want to plan this in advance.
Right now regarding the explanation I feel that having watched the anime and read the novels that the people in RWBY-verse should be naturally stronger and that with aura unlocked even more so even passively. For reason they will be able to perform what some may consider ridiculous feats of strength, The MC especially remember that he is probably 4 times stronger than most other characters so not all of them will stupidly powerful. However, they will be stronger, for example Crescent rose on the generous estimate is 160 pounds being anywhere up 250 pounds or 73 kilograms to 114 kilograms and Ruby a tiny girl carries it around at all time and swings the thing and is able manoeuvre with it.
For this reason I don't think with the consideration of this this that my MC will be too strong or at least stronger than I want him to be. Also while he has all these materials he cant just use them but they will be used at some point in the next three chapters.
Finally I am playing with the idea of something called aura refinement where the user can use their aura to purify and enhance a base material (e.g. Steel or ebony) in order to make it stronger but they will also lose material as impurities become a grime that has to be cleaned off. Not sure if I will actually use this idea so please let me know what you all think. (New) Have officially decided on how I will do this and use it. It will be included in a chapter soon.
New: OC's Weapons have been decided or main weapon and sidearm.
Main weapon: Double ended scythe made out of an ebony and stalheim damascus and aura forging techniques. Will have mecha-shift to allow the blades to straighten and become blades. Centre of the shaft will have a twist mechanism with runes and fuin that allow for different functions such as the shaft shrinking and storing the blades away. Twists apart to allow a chain to connect two half or to allow two separate halves. The blades are slightly curved and can be used as swords when separated. The two ends can also two the same way round and an stalheim aura enhanced thread can be used to mecha-shift as a bow.
Side-arm: Ebony made Korth NFX .44 Magnum with different chambers to allow for normal .44 bullets and high calibre sniper rounds or explosive rounds. Can mecha-shift into a 20''inch wakizashi blade.
