Chapter 106: CHAPTER 106: MISSION

His wife obviously divorced him and abandoned him because she did not want to live in poverty with him.

He understood her the best because love without money and food was simply unfathomable.

He was fortunate to meet another wife from a neighboring village who simply loved him for who he was. After all, the farm could no longer produce anything, so Peter survived by farming and assisting others in nearby villages.

However, the woman who had just promoted him bought the farm two years ago and didn't mind him staying there, even offering him a job. He had been a resident of the farm for far too long and was quite knowledgeable about many things, which gave him an advantage over others.

Peter never thought or imagined himself being promoted; as long as the farm was running smoothly, he was receiving his salary alongside his wife, and he was living comfortably. He was content.
