Write a reviewif anyone has read this novel.. has MC transmigrated into the game? or it is like a VR game? or does MC have a system in another world? Description is useless.. tags are as good as non existent
I'm only 11 chapters in, and although it seems a bit early to write a review, I don't feel like I can continue reading any further. The world background is the typical copy-paste wuxia, which makes up about 80% of wuxia novels available on Webnovel, which is as can be expected. The story development so far is so-so, and the writing style has about the same level of grammatical and word choice errors as any other story on here, but what really bothers me is the weak willed shaky-knee absolute *ussy the main character is. Maybe he finds his balls soon, but between his cowardice and lack of brains, I really just don't want to waste my time reading thus and just cannot recommend to anyone else to give it a go.
the protagonist is a coward, there is a skip for 3 years for which he did nothing, although his system is designed for rapid development.
The mc is a coward… to the point it’s ridiculous. Instead of going out to hunt even the weakest beast, he would rather spend months! MONTHS! Digging for worms that will only drop ordinary things like plates and food. He is extremely against taking any risks whatsoever. This is a story that relies entirely on plot armor
Mc is a cowardly trash. Spent months digging for worms instead of even attempting to fight anything.
The story started of good. It was interesting, and I kept wanting more. Until he developed this 'I need to hide it' concept. The whole thing suddenly became so cringe and that not even the worst part. The plot armour thickened over time, to the point that it annoyed the f out of me.
I know I’m way too early to write a review but the mcs character does not fit his system. He is too risk averse to maximize on his drop rate and it makes this story hella frustrating and honestly a little boring
well, other than the mc being a bit stupid at the very beginning, this has turned out to be pretty good. as long as it doesn't go downhill after full release, I'll keep reading. it's nice to see the outer sect disciples doing something other than getting ready for the sect competition and etc.
MC was a bit of a coward in the first few chapters.MC starts killing everyone except his sect people in any exploration( a very ridiculous bottom-line that makes no sense). Ok, still I could read past this but what I couldn't stand was why did he feel a responsibility over his sect?( another ridiculous reason just because he got some ancestral artifact of the sect.) At this point, the author just wants to add some baggage to the MC to make him have a weak point that I am sure will be exploited later.
braindead waste of time. Mc is a coward. he isn't active. Things happen around him. and worse, he's stupid.
The story is amazing and all, but it’s all about Lunar. Like what’s so great about lunar? How does one get stronger with moon light and get weaker Witt sun light when they are basically the same thing? Unless Lunar is new concept of Darkness where he gets stronger with darkness, then this is just stupid. Lunar light is just a weaker, more pathetic version of the sun. This kind of bothers people who have knowledge of the laws of physics, not just me. It would’ve been cooler if it was void and not lunar.
Reveal SpoilerIt’s alright I’ve gotten to about chapter 250, but there are a few things that kinda annoy me. First while he’s in the Qi Martial Realm he puts so much effort into making all his Qi Vortexes Lunar attribute and then brings them to the extreme to give himself the Lunar body only for his Lunar power to become useless the moment he breaks through to the Blood Martial Realm. Also you would think that becoming the strongest in the world at the Entry Martial Realm and Qi Martial Realm would afford him some strength at the higher levels but no he struggles to kill Early Blood Martial enemies when he reaches that level, it especially bothers me because when he reaches the peak of Qi Martial it’s repeatedly said that he could kill Blood Martial experts but like I said he struggles even when he reaches the Blood Martial Realm.
Reveal SpoilerHe turns into serial killer for getting drops in 150 chptrs unscrupulously.. So called 'bottom line' he kept saying from the first part of chapters seems to have vanished.
It had potential, but as others have already mentioned, the protagonist is very cowardly and that ruins it. A cowardly protagonist is very common in Chinese novels. For some reason, they believe that if you stand out, the entire world would be after you. I usually can't stand it and I drop them soon after if it gets too annoying. (Like hiding strength, hiding face, hiding background.) If you hide or your whole life motto is to lay low, you're just a spineless wimp in my eyes. Aaaaanyway, this protagonist takes it too far. Even at a high cultivation level, he doesn't dare to hunt anything except for mosquitoes and worms. And when his realm level reaches 7, he hides it and pretends to be much weaker, so he could end up in the team for useless trash, because he felt it would be safer for him. If you're like me and can't stand such cowardly loser protagonists, then stay away from this novel.
This is a Transmigration novel that stops being one after the first chapter. There is no link to him being from another world. Might as well call it a "I suddenly forgot my youth and have a system" kind of story. The plot armor is indestructible. In some other novel, the main character starts with an overpowered thing that we all know is present. Its capabilities are defined and there is no surprise if it can do a thing. It is also not omnipotent. In this novel, the character always has things magically work out for him. Either a previous random item now seem to be able to fix the situation, or the next pebble he finds is enchanted with "Fix this unique problem". There is no sense of challenge in anything he does. Now that story wise is done, well translation/writing needs improvement. Some things make no sense and break the immersion. The weird switch between Metric and Imperial units also create weird comparison. Have you ever seen the 300 foot tall monster fight the 10 meters tall warrior over 40 Miles away? A nice sight from inside the City...Read Half of the released chapter, will be stopping spending money here.
Reveal SpoilerIf you want a novel that is gripping, paints a descriptive, beautiful scene in your mind, makes you cheer when the mc snatches the cicada, makes you question your own values in life, has a cultivation system that is meaningful and powers that are coherent with it, or makes you satisfied when mc gets the power up they worked hard for, look further. If you want a novel that is a little funny and mc accumulates ‘dubs’ constantly, there are still better ones out there. Not horrific to read. But, why would you read this when there is simply much better stuff out there.
