Chapter 52: Chapter Fifty-Two: Luna And Sionia

"Now, this is a special occasion dear guests. We have several elves we caught at the border of Grasslash and are planning to auctions them today!" Jasmine heard a man exclaim, as she entered the room. She felt her feet touch a smooth, marble-like floor. It was cold to the touch, but wasn't painful, unlike the crooked stones on the journey to the room.

"First up we have a strong minded, beautiful female elf, suspected to be a noble amongst her kind!" the man yelled, making the crowd cheer. Their loud voices gave Jasmine a headache.

Barely gathering the strength to lift her head, Jasmine observed the crowd with vairy eyes. She was pushed forward and forced to the side, as the first unlucky slave was forced up on the stage, in view of the rowdy crowd.

"Ten gold!" a male-like voice exclaimed, kickstarting a fierce battle.

"Twenty"

"Fifty"

"A hundred"

"Two-hundred gold" an abrupt voice yelled and everyone became quiet. Jasmine could see discomfort in the announcer's eyes, as he grew stiff. Then he hastily said.

"Two hundred gold going once!" the man said, and stiffly observed the crowd, waiting for someone to bid higher, but no such thing came, so he continued, "Going twice" he said, once more going silent, waiting for but a moment to announce the result, "Sold!"

The crowd went wild, congratulated the winner. Then, like nothing happened, the next product came to display.

Eventually Jasmine's turn came along. She tried to stop her little legs from skimping onto the stage, but she had no control over her body.

Seeing the beings in front of her, Jasmine's mind came to a halt. The sentient creatures before her looked like those from the last place she visited. A word was surfing at the edge of her mind, 'Neanderthals'. They were robust, while others were slim and curvy.

"This one is a special occasion in itself, it's to my great pleasure to introduce you to this find, one of the three princesses of Grasslash." the announcer yelled with pure bliss, as the crowd became more rowdy than ever.

"Twenty-thousand gold!" one of the people in the crowd yelled, but it didn't end there.

"Fifty-thousand", "Two-hundred-thousand"...."Ten-million" they went on, until the ten million was announced. At that point people stopped and calmed down. Many couldn't afford to pay that much. Eventually the announcer ended the bid and Jasmine was forced off the stage.

She was led into a bright room, that blinded her sensitive eyes, that had adjusted to darkness under the time in the tunnel. As she entered she noticed a man standing there, holding a mask in his hand. Jasmine instantly realized it was the buyer.

"Princes Sionia, it's a pleasure meeting you!" the man said, expressing a wicked smile her way, his golden teeth on full display.

"Count Jomd Kalp!" Jasmine hissed. While being confused how she knew the name, or while she felt a deep hatred for the name in front of her.

"Today, I will make back all the money I spent on you and even more. When the king hears about this he will rejoice at the opportunity!" the man said and handed a pouch to one of the other people in the room, then he grabbed Jasmine's arm and dragged her away.

Days passed, as Jasmine counted the seconds. She was trapped in a dark cell, being fed a weird slimy substance every eight hours. She had no company and couldn't even see her feeders face, as the food was delivered through a hatch.

"Grasslash has declared war on Artofgor!" Jasmine heard suddenly, then everything went quiet again. Days turned to months and months to years, until eventually a decade had passed.

The food had stopped coming a long time ago and she sustained herself through mana and her belief in her mother goddess Luna, goddess of dawn. She accumulated energy and grew stronger with each day. Jasmine found the belief she had for Luna similar to her worship of Jantyr, but different.

For the first time she realized one thing, she was just living the life of someone else, she wasn't that person. This knowledge came to her, when she felt her belief in Luna, the goddess of dawn. It was nowhere near her loyalty to Jantyr.

When Jasmine realized this she started treating the life she was going through as a vision and not her experience, which ultimately made her sane once more. The decade of accumulated stress, gone that very second.

Eventually the girl Jasmine was living as decided it was time to leave and she broke through. She found the world around her vastly different from the one before.

Around her she found elves walking the streets in chains. Neanderthals had enslaved them and were forcing them to do their bidding. her kind had become slaves.

That very moment she felt the touch of Lunar grow even stronger in her and for the first time in her life, she killed someone.

She knew not when, but at some point she held the head of one of their kind. "Disgusting humans!" she uttered, as Jasmine watched in shock. She felt the blood in her hands, the feeling of tearing the head off, yet it felt so surreal, she knew she hadn't done it. Committed such cruelty, yet she felt like it was her actions.

What followed was a rampage for the lack of better words. Jasmine killed every human there and freed the elves, then she continued. With the power of her goddess she dominated the country and won back her people's freedom. Then she returned home after a successful conquest. Her family was dead and she was all that remained of the previous royal family. So she claimed her rightful place at the throne and ruled the country.

But war came to their doorstep, when worshipers of many different gods claimed that Luna was an evil goddess. Then a holy war came to be, that lasted many years. She managed to drive off the enemy forces, but elves stopped communicating with other species and let no outsiders enter their walls, they became a secluded race.

After the war concluded Jasmine was sent into another person, lived out their life and so on for several times until finally her trial was done, all that was left was the worst to come.
