Axel and Killua stood side by side, looking around the room filled with potential hunters. Axel recognized several familiar faces from the original series, including the infamous three brothers from the Zoldyck family.
As they waited for the exam to start, Axel turned to Killua and said, "You're thinking the same thing as me, right?" Killua simply nodded in response, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips.
Axel knew that the Hunter Exam would not be easy, especially with so many people in the room. He could sense the tension in the air as everyone vied for a chance to become a hunter. It was clear that many of the applicants had trained hard for this moment.
Axel's thoughts turned to his own training with Void, and he couldn't help but wonder if it would be enough to help him pass the exam. He had spent the last two days using Void to hone his combat abilities and nen skills, but he knew that the exam would test more than just his physical prowess.
As he continued to survey the room, Axel noticed that some of the other applicants were starting to grow restless. He could hear mutters and whispers as people began to realize that there were too many people in the room.
Axel and Killua exchanged a quick glance, both knowing what needed to be done. Without a word, they both stepped forward and began to assess the situation.
Axel quickly spotted several weaker applicants who were unlikely to make it through the first round of the exam. He approached them with a friendly smile, offering to help them find the exit.
Killua, meanwhile, focused his attention on the more skilled applicants. He engaged them in conversation, subtly probing to see if they had any weaknesses that he could exploit.
Together, Axel and Killua worked to thin out the crowd, each using their unique skills to identify the weaker applicants. It was a subtle and delicate process, but they were determined to take out all of them in a short time.
Axel and Killua quickly got to work, knocking out the people in the room. Axel used his martial arts skills to knock people out with quick and precise hits, while Killua used his electric powers to zap them with a single hit. They worked together in perfect synchronicity, taking out person after person.
As they worked, Axel couldn't help but notice the looks of shock and fear on the faces of some of the other examinees. He knew that this was a brutal and unexpected turn of events, but he also knew that it was necessary.
"Only people who have what it needed should be hunter."
"It is better for them to be eliminated here."
The Hunter Exam was not for the faint of heart, and only those who were willing to do whatever it took to pass would be successful.
Finally, after what felt like thirty minutes of knocking people out, the number of examinees in the room had been reduced to the required amount. Axel and Killua stood back, catching their breath and looking around at the unconscious bodies littering the room.
"Damn, that was intense," Axel said, wiping the non-existent sweat from his forehead. "But at least we made it through."
Killua nodded in agreement with a small smile on his face. "Yeah, we make a pretty good team," he said.
Axel couldn't help but agree. Despite the chaos and violence, he felt a sense of camaraderie with Killua.
"It is hard to not like Killua when looking from a perspective of a individual that liked and watched Hunter x Hunter back then."
Axel commented.
