Chapter 25: Stronger Feelings, Stronger Bond
Nana looked at the attentive man in front of her with mixed emotion. Her days with him felt like a dream yet it also felt so real. If someday she told other people that Mu Yang was feeding her, she was sure they wouldn't believe her at all. Originally, she was from a different world. Her field of work, her social environment, and her origins were the reasons why she wouldn't put much thought into their ambiguous relationship.
Yes, he treated her well. It was so good that she found it hard to believe that the man in front of her was the real Mu Yang.
Yes, he acted like a boyfriend. He did say that it was a fan service, then for some unknown reason, it changed into something else similar to being a lover. It was easy to let herself sink deeper into this relationship, and she was confident that it would also be easy to let go of this relationship.
He even said sweet promises to her and some words like 'I can't let you go' felt like a bitter sweet medicine in her mouth. It could make her heart flutter crazily, yet it arose a sense of fear and worry inside.
Don't fall deeper, Nana. He is an actor, he is just playing with you.
That was what she told herself repeatedly and unknowingly to Mu Yang.
"I promise I won't let you suffer anymore." Mu Yang put his big hand against her smooth cheek while gazing at her lovingly. He had finished putting aside the dishes and was sitting beside her.
Nana was too lazy to think about the things that made her suffer. So, she nodded. That was not a bad promise, after all. She didn't need to refuse his good intention.
"Do you still have anywhere to visit today? Should we stay inside the room for today?" He asked gently while rubbing her cheek with his thumb.
Nana nodded. She took her phone from the bedside table and showed him her plan. Most of them had been crossed, a sign that she had done or visited it. Mu Yang noticed some of them weren't crossed yet, so he took a note on them. They were just several places nearby. It wouldn't be hard for them to visit them in a day.
The problem was Nana's condition. It was also why he proposed to stay inside the room instead of going out.
Nana obviously knew why he said so. Although it was embarrassing, she must admit that they overdid it and half of it was caused by her. However, she didn't want to miss this chance and forced herself to say that she was okay.
"I'm good to go after I take a bath." She said firmly.
"... Fine. Let's get ready." He stood up and started to prepare for their next date.
Nana got down from her bed and went into the bathroom excitedly. Even when she hissed half way to it, she still didn't stop and prepared herself well. As embarrassed as she felt, she couldn't blame Mu Yang for the swollen and the sore she felt.
Later on, the both of them stood in front of the wall mirror in the hotel room, checking out their outfits -Mu Yang made sure they had matching color outfits -before they put on their disguise. One tall and handsome, one short and lovely, Mu Yang couldn't help but grin in satisfaction. He put on his white hat and took out a pair of matching mask which was written '^_mi' and 'ne_^'. He put on the '^_mi' one and put on the other on Nana who was looking at him in confusion.
Only after she looked at their reflection in the mirror then she understood. Her long hair was tied up into a pony tail . A white hat appeared on top of her head and Mu Yang put it on her carefully.
After making sure their identity was hidden well, Mu Yang took a picture of the both of them together. His arm looped around her shoulders in intimate ways. Ever since they crossed the line, Mu Yang felt an indescribable intimacy towards her. He felt like he could understand her even just through her eyes.
Nana felt the same, as well. It felt right to be this close to him. She felt secured with him around her. It was as if she could feel his mood just through their skin ship. It felt good, but also she felt a bit scared with the change.
What if she couldn't let him go and insisted on clinging on to him?
Mu Yang, of course, didn't know the struggle inside her heart. He only knew that he was happy that she was right beside him and they wore matching outfits like real couples. His hand was itchy to upload all of those pictures he had with her in his social media, but he held back.
Again, he assured himself that there would be time he could upload all of the pictures and showed off to his circles that he had a lovely girlfriend.
"Let's go!" Mu Yang took a hold of her hand with a grin hiding behind his mask. Nana obediently followed him out of the room and into the parking lot.
They had a lot of fun together. Since it would their last trip together, Mu Yang was a bit unrestrained. Whenever he had time, he would pull down his mask and expose his face to the camera. He even made sure to show their intimacy in their pictures together. It was just a small skin ship such as holding hands together, a back hug, or with his face on the pictures and her back facing the camera. Many people were looking at their way since how cute they looked together, but it didn't lessen his will to enjoy every moment with Nana to the fullest.
It was risky, but he loved every second of it.
After getting everything on the list checked, Mu Yang and Nana went to have dinner in a nice and romantic place near a human-made forest. He even specially ordered a VIP room so that they could eat in peace. Then, they had a night walk together before they returned to the hotel. It was a silent yet comfortable walk with their hands clasping each other.
Until they heard a small voice saying: "He looks familiar. Don't you think he look like Mu Yang?"
Mu Yang: "!!!"
Nana: "!!!"
