Chapter 15: Damn Mate Pull
I am going to do this as nicely as I can, I am a lady, I have the power of persuasion too. And my body too, I've heard and known for a long time that I have an irresistible body.
"Why don't you just let me go"I coo with big eyes
He doesn't say anything and just watches me. I change my tactic and pout with my big eyes.
"What is that supposed to do? Make me release you?..." He snickers and continues
"If it will do anything, it will make me want to not let you go."
Shit.
That's the complete opposite of what I'm after.
"Now this has gone on for so long... How long are you two going to keep on not admitting the obvious?" Adam asked
"I am nineteen for crying out loud. I am in absolutely no position to worry about things like this. Fuck it. I'm in no position to think about anything that is not college right now. I can't have any distractions, not to talk of one like you..."
I pause for a second trying to find the right words and to get my meaning and hopes across to this stone hearted man.
"I can't possibly give up my parents sole wish for something so trivial..." I conclude and add a sigh for dramatic effect.
I can only hope my little speech has an effect on him.
He seems to have thought of it.
Finally, I'm getting through to the rock.
"What if I make you an offer?" He asks suddenly and smirked.
Instincts, I knew on the spot that whatever it is is not going to be good for me or at least, I get the short straw.
"Hm?"
Someone clears a throat. I had totally forgotten about the other guy. I think he called him Adam?
"I think I have seen more than enough. I will be taking my leave now...." The Adam guy gives Damien a quick bow and walks out of the room.
I take few cautious steps back incase I need to make use of the door or windows.
Being alone with Damien is trouble and I don't trust Alpha Damien one bit.
He stood up from his mighty chair and starts pacing around the room.
He sighs from time to time and all I can see is the way he parts his lips and joins then back again.
He suddenly stops and runs his hands through his jet black hair and the way he does it is too beautiful and elegant and it makes my heart beat faster. What am I doing? I am alone with this danger and admiring his assets?
I'm so gone.
