Chapter 72: Chapter 72 : Attack on Falmiere (Part 4)
The ground tremble, the castle fall into pieces has Misreld kept growing larger and larger. Lucifer and everyone else who was inside the castle jumped to a safe location.
"W-what is that thing?" Miranda asked as she raised her head looking up at what was before her.
Misreld turned into a 100 ft tall black mud man. He held his head and screamed out in agony.
"What's happening to him?" Mero asked concernedly
"The power of ten thousand human souls and the power of Darkness is too much for a human to handle. Right now his body and mind is eroding away," Lucifer explained
Archibald drew his bow and fired off an arrow at Misreld but it was absorbed into his body, it was as if she was shooting a slime.
"My arrows don't have any effect!"
"What do you expect from human?! that thing's powerlevel is 250,000!"Fenrir yelled.
"Lucifer! Lucifer! I'll Kill You, I'll Kill You!" Misreld roared.
"He's become a mindless beast driven by rage, the fact that he's calling Husbands name must mean he has a deep seeded hatred against him," Lelania explained.
Lucifer held out his hand and changed the darkness into dragon wings. He took off to the sky at supersonic speed. Misreld sensed him approaching and started attacking with multiple muddy arms. Lucifer manoeuvred around all of them with ease and went straight towards Misreld's head. After Misreld open his wide mouth Lucifer flew straight into it and Misreld swallowed him with one gulp.
"Eh!"
"Huh!"
"What the?!"
Everyone on the ground was gawking when Lucifer got swallowed. Air escaped from their gaping mouth, their eyes looked as if they were about to pop out of their head.
"What the hell just happened?! That idiot just got eaten, what was he thinking?!" Archibald shouted in rage.
Misreld plodded forward and turned his face to everyone on the ground. He took another step causing the ground to trembled and splattered his murky flesh on the ground.
"That thing's coming!"
Fenrir and the others readied themself to attack when suddenly the blade of a scythe protruded from Misreld's chest. The scythe started slicing him from the inside like a hot knife through melted wax while he screamed in pain.
"Graaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!"
Misreld bursted into a million pieces and everyone got a good look at what killed him from the inside. Lucifer was floating in the air with a 80ft grim reaper behind him. They could see a skeleton with a lime green bones, six eye sockets and jet black robe with a human skulls as necklace. It's scythe handle was made of the spike, skull of a human and the blade was 50 metres long.
"That's the same skill that women use!" Archibald exclaimed.
"No this skill is different, I think he brought forth the True Grim Reaper," Miranda shuddered in awe. "If he summoned the true grim reaper, then who the hell is he?"
The grim reaper turned into mist and returned to Lucifer's body then he slowly descended while absorbing energy left by Misreld. Lucifer felt as if he was about to vomit and cover his mouth.
'The energy I absorb is too much, I'll have to try and digest it properly, hm,' he thought.
A bunch of new skills started flowing into Lucifer's mind 「Fire Magic 」 「Ice Magic 」「Wind Magic 」「Soul Magic 」「Spacial Magic」「Teleportation 」「Demon Summoning Magic 」「Demonification」「Soul Abortion 」「Soul Manipulation 」「Magic Nullification 」「 Magic Resistant 」
With his eyes now closed Lucifer looked up and saw Mero, Lelania and Eve diving at him. They hugged him at once and cried on top of him.
"Husband! I'm so glad you're okay!"
"Please don't leave again Master!"
"We don't know what we'll do without you!"
"Alright break it up now!"
Fenrir said as she lifted the three of them off him then helped Lucifer to his feet.
As she looked at him she remembered what she saw that day and then she gave him a punch to his face then ended up hurting her own hand. "Ow! Ow! son of a bitch!"
"What was that for!" Mero asked.
"You know why, I'm still angry with you Lucifer. How could you put your life in danger like that? I know you are only trying to protect us but what about what we want?" She complained.
"What do you want?" Lucifer queried.
"We only want to fight by your side, that's all we wanted," Lelania requested.
"Yes, we are not only your wives but your companions, your partners," Mero expressed.
Lucifer looked at all of them and took their words to heart. "...Partners… I see…"
"My Kingdom! You monster ruined my Kingdom!" King Salvatore started showing his anger towards Lucifer and the others.
Suddenly knights from all around rushed to where he was and point their weapons at Lucifer.
"You're going to pay for what you've done. Kill them!" Salvatore ordered.
His knight were prepared to kill Lucifer and the others but upon seeing the giant that stood tall over them their hearts wavered.
"Wait a minute," Rosario called out.
Every knight turned saw her and they were all happy to see her once again so with respect, gave way for her to pass.
"Oh Rosario you've come at the right time, these monsters destroyed our kingdom. Now do your duty as a knight and destroy them," Salvatore suggested.
Rosario looked at the king then looked at Lucifer and the others.
"What are you waiting for kill—"
Before Salvatore could finish he was kicked square in the face by Rosario. His face warped beneath her boot, one of his teeth dislodged from his mouth and his nose bent all the way to the left. He fell to the ground then got up and checked his nose, disassembled teeth and broken jaw.
"What are you doing?" Archibald barked his questioned.
"Rosario, are you out of your mind?!" Miranda shouted.
Rosariw glared at them. "Out of my mind you say? For years I've been bowing to this king not knowing that I've been serving the man who killed my mother and father," Rosario points her sword at the king.
"You think I wouldn't know that you're the one murdered my parent and altered my memories just to become your pawn."
"Rosario, what is the meaning of this!"
"Don't play dumb you murderer!"
"Stop this, you're being manipulated. I'm your king, your superior. Your job is to exterminate all monsters, they not only killed our parents but destroyed the kingdom," Salvatore said as he pointed his finger at Lucifer and the others.
Suddenly Rosario swung her sword at him and a white light split open the ground. Salvatore was inches away from where Rosario swung her sword and shuddered upon seeing the cut in the ground.
"You still have the nerve to lie in front of me!" she said while looking at Salvatore with killing Intent. "You best tell the truth. Your life depends on it.
He couldn't withstand the pressure radiating from her so he grovelled at her feet. "It's true, I'm the one who ordered them killed!" Salvatore confessed.
He started to explain that he conspired with the church to capture Rosario and killed her parents then altered her memories all to gain full control over her thoughts and actions. Everyone who heard the confession, was ashamed of the king's actions, their hearts were broken that their king would do such a thing.
"Please, I beg you to spare me," he begged pathetically.
"As much as I would like to end you...I can't.'
Rosario sheathed her sword and took a step back.
"Killing you would prove nothing, I've done a horrible crime by killing monsters who were innocent. I must atone for my actions and make up for the things I've done and so on."
She walked up to Lucifer, kneeled down before him and held Excalibur to him. "Lucifer, please allow me to serve under you," she requested.
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.
