I felt my heart constrict painfully in my chest at the mention of Dre and I held my head down.

All this information was different from what I knew and I didn't know who to believe. This woman who might possibly be my mother, the one I thought was dead but also I could never find myself to believe that my dad would do that to her. I know dad would give up his own life for Sam and he'd surely do the same for the woman he loves.
