The doctor said that Jake fainted due to the stimulation, the shock of seeing blood as well as the fact that his body was weak at hell due to the lack of food and sleep and it couldn’t handle all that vomiting. His body basically just shut down, not wanting to deal with this shit anymore.

After that, since he’s a grown ass man, the doctor scolded him for half an hour to take care of his body. Sitting on the side, Mathew just listened to the doctor scolding him more than he has scolded Jake in his life and thought that maybe he should be a stricter father. It was time to go back to those days when he had to force baby Jake to eat or he would starve.
