#Chapter147
The sound of chopping wood rings through the forest, as the villagers gather together in rebuilding the damaged and burnt huts, and slowly things start to return to normal and when Piet arrives back there he finds the villagers in high spirits as Alfred had shot a large bushbuck for them, and tonight they will feast on fresh meat.
Bodies of the victims had been buried during the course of the day, and tonight the families will pay homage to the ancestors and ask them to pave the way to the afterlife for the ones that died in the fire, and the ones the lion took.
After stopping at the village, and waiting for the Rangers to arrive to offer protection to the village, Piet gathers his gang, and heads out towards the second village to collect the gathered warriors, led by Lunga with the objective of returning to the second cave entrance, and blocking it so that no man nor animal will have access to the caves from that route.
