#Chapter127
Slowly Piet moves his group through the long grass as they move towards the buffalo herd; the bull lifts his head and paws at the hard ground, swinging around in the direction of the visitors. With hand signals, Piet stops the group, surveys the area, making sure that they are not encroaching on the herd in any way. The bull watches them, and then resumes feeding on the sweet grass, the tick bird’s return to their duties and the soft sound of cameras capture the magnificent creatures.
The herd moves off, away from the group, and gather together under the shade of a bunch of thorn trees, alert and watchful. Piet moves the group away from the herd, back towards the waiting Land Rover, the next stop on his list is back to camp, and lunch before the afternoon trip to the watering hole.
