#Chapter61
As darkness spreads across the forest, the big cat moves away from his kill, cradled high up in the fork of a massive tree, secure in the knowledge that its kill is safe from any other predators in the area. It slowly makes its way towards a small village, from where the sounds of children playing can be heard.
The brush parts as his huge head breaks through. The village is a hive of activity with the women busy cooking on open fires. The men sitting around talking and smoking, while the children run around screaming at the top of their voices in play. The screams irritate the cat, and he growls deep in his throat, and moves out into the clearing, in full view of the villagers, for humans are not to be feared.
