#Chapter54
Night falls, and deep in the forest, the sound of a tom-tom carries through the trees, the glow of the fire reveals ten hideous shapes shuffling their feet in the dirt, as they move around four others, huddled in the center of the circle. Each figure wears the mask of the leopard, the skins draped over their shoulders, the steel claws attached to their hands glint in the firelight.
The drumming stops, the drummer stands and moves with purpose into the center of the circle. He looks down at the four, through the eyes of his leopard mask. They are huddled together, for they have been brought here against their will, but will be given a choice.
