#Chapter7
They make their way through the forest, towards the river bank where the body of the croc waits. They walk behind the singing gang of laborers, who’s only thought, is of all the croc meat they are going to take home. The sound of the singing carries, it’s a good feeling all around as they move down the slope towards the river.
The safari crew is the first ones to exit the brush and lay eyes on the dead croc. The singing is choked back, to be replaced by loud gasps of disbelief at what they see. David, Piet, and Adele join the crew; Adele covers her mouth and stumbles over to a bush where she vomits out her breakfast.
David and Piet look at the scene before them in shocked horror at what they see, the crew starts talking about witchcraft, glancing around at the bush, scared. Adele re-joins them white-faced and horrified at the carnage.
