Days pass swiftly by, and frustration sets in, so far they have achieved nothing. No one has been prepared to talk to them, and their investigation is going nowhere fast

That evening, the group gathers in the bar area of the boma for supper and drinks sitting around the fire. As usual the conversation centers around the creature that they have seen, its origin, and how to get rid of it, and as they sit under the stars, next to the fire with the brilliance of the full moon shining down on the river, they hear the haunting howl of the creature as it answers the call of the moon, and they shift nervously in their chairs. Glancing around as the night lays claim to the land.
