#Chapter36
News of the killing of the Leopard Man spread’s like wild fire through the villages in the area. The police now have proof that the cult is not made up of supernatural beings and they can be stopped. They did not have magic that made them invincible to bullets. They were men of flesh and blood who were savage, bestial and vicious in their killing. They were normal men using superstition and the belief in witchcraft to further their own gains.
Roger sends his men out to the various villages to see if any witnesses would now be prepared to come forward with clues as to the identity of the cult members and the possible location of their secret shrine deep in the forest. Unseen, Petrus slips away into the forest.
