Spring break, here we come

We went to West Virginia on spring break this year. I thought hanging in the mountains would be fun. Then I realized there’s nothing to do in the mountains. Well, there’s nothing but mountains. Plus, we had no cell service. You would think we wouldn’t have a problem with the altitude. Boy, you’re mistaken.

We traveled to an area called Blackwater Falls. Brandon’s dad had family there, which we would meet later. It took us eight hours to get to our destination. Then we had to find the cabin. We pulled up to the place. The six of us exited the car.

/"There’s nothing like the great outdoors to bring us close together,/" Casey said.

We glanced at him. He shrugged as Brandon unlocked the cabin.

/"If this is roughing it, then I’ll rough it anytime./" Marta walked in with her bags.

The owners modernized the cabin with a bathroom and furniture. Most are rustic, but this cabin had amenities.
