We sat in the waiting room to find out about Dad. All I could think about was whether he was okay or not. Please let him be okay.

Finally, a nurse came and got us. She led us back to where he was, and we could hear yelling.

/"No, I refuse!/" Dad yelled.

/"Sir, we have to,/" a nurse pleaded with him.

/"What’s going on here?/" Mom asked.

/"They want to put a catheter in me./" Dad gave the nurse a dirty look. /"I told them I’m fine to piss into a container./"

/"The doctor ordered it,/" the nurse said.

/"Well, that doctor is a quack, and the answer is no. You’re not putting that in my wanger. Now go away before I hurt you,/" he said.

/"Mackenzie Sayer Bennett!/" Mom said.

/"Wait. Your dad’s name is Mackenzie?/" Andrew asked me.

/"Yeah, did you have a problem with that?/" He asked Andrew.

/"Not at all./"
