After losing the baby, we dealt with it. Of course, there was much crying. The doctor explained that miscarriages happen, and we could always try again.

We got married. Our wedding was small with only our friends and Paige’s brother Isador. Who the hell names their kid Isador? But then again, who calls their kid Mackenzie? Note the sarcasm. I hate my name.

We stood in front of the minister as everyone looked on. We pledged our love to each other. We promised to be there through all the crap you must deal with. Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of weddings.

After the ceremony, we had dinner with everyone. Bob and Ruth announced she was expecting. They also told us they eloped. Bob told us Ruth’s father threatened to shoot his ass. That doesn’t surprise me—poor kid. I’m sure the kid will get his dad’s dipwad genes.
