The new semester started, and Clyde pursued me. I had my reservations, but it’s not like anyone is knocking on my door to ask me for a date. While everyone was finding love and romance, I’m working and attending school. Woo-hoo for me!

Skylar and I hung out without Mason. They’re getting close, which is okay, but I can’t stand the awkwardness between Mason and me.

/"Clyde asked you out?/" Skylar asked, surprised.

/"Yeah, but I’m not sure if I should accept,/" I answered, sitting on my bed.

/"Why not?/" Skylar questioned, standing in front of me.

/"What if I go out and it’s a disaster? Or we go out, and Clyde turns into a toad?/" I questioned with a look.

/"Or you can go out and find happiness, then get married and have babies,/" Skylar mentioned. She wiggled her eyebrows.

I chuckled.

/"You’re a nut,/" I commented.
