Britney finally regained consciousness. Her head throbbed with a dull ache, a constant reminder of the blow she had received.

"Ah…" She winched, and her fingers instinctively reached to touch the tender spot on her head, only to feel gauze wrap around her head.

With a painful exhale, Britney blinked her eyes, attempting to focus on her surroundings. The initially blurry vision gradually cleared, revealing the sterile, clinical environment around her. She found herself surrounded by white walls, the antiseptic scent of the hospital filling her senses.

"Um…" She realized she was back in the hospital again. This time, it wasn't the result of a brawl with her fellow inmates at the mental asylum; it was something far more sinister.
