Chapter 72: ok

The City of Arkanglsk was a religious city as it mostly had a theoretical city government which controlled the city.

But in reality it's not official as the cities fall under barons who are local rulers, pretty much the church overtook the city thus breaking the laws of the Empire but the religious organisation grew too big and influential to be put down.

A man named Banor was the Baron of the City but he was way too powerless. He resided inside his fortress which seemed to have its doors closed.

The fortress had large walls and a massive door as it was cut off from the rest of the city due to a small barrier in the form of a river surrounding the fortress walls as the only way to enter was through the gates which fell down connecting the fortress with the rest of the city.

It was done because the baron was a paranoid individual so was his ancestors who did this to protect their family.
