Zach should have been happy that Ronaldo was offering to do it for free and he shouldn't have been trying to turn down the offer.

The last thing that they needed was to make yet another enemy out of the military. They were ruthless and they were much stronger than any force that they had met before now.

If they were to go up against them it would have been a terrible mistake on their part. One thing was surer and that was the fact that the military was a force to be reckoned with.
