Write a reviewits's all a simulation, the story goes from a student who wants to excel to fighting aliens in a simulation with a bit of Chinese fantasy/mythology in the mix it'll be fine if the story just stick to the development where he just fighting off companies and stuff but aliens are coming to kill all life on earth so the mc just advance the human tech on light speed no or little development whatsoever even the side characters have no development but chap 160 its just meaninglessness.
Reveal SpoilerThe writing quality kinda sucks, there’s a lot a time inconsistencies and it wasn’t trasnlated super well. The novel is fast to start, goes pretty slow the entire mid, and the last 50 chapters accomplish a lot. Over well it has good character development, not much romance at all, and the last chapter is actually the best I’ve read yet. The plot twist amazing and makes the whole novel very worth while
It’s not really unique or awesome although not bad it’s just been used a lot not the exact idea persay but close enough but if you’re bored and wanna change of pace it’s I always read only fantasy so it was nice changing it to something a tad bit more realistic
It's an immersive storyline. with a great plot twist at the end.while it has its many flaws, it is a good read all through.Though, given the number of ultimate attempts, one should have expected some better presentation in plotline in the earlier chapters.(purposely writing to avoid spoiler alerts... Lols)Anyways, I would recommend this to everyone Thank you author.
MC is dumb and the author is even more. Is super frustrating to read this novel. So I’m dropping and giving my review to save the time of fellow readers.
Although i had some problems with the writing style and how rushed many plots were or how all the people were portrayed as which seemed illogical, i really enjoyed reading it and was looking forward to new chapters every dayThe idea itself what it's about was just so interesting to me and I really liked the inventions itself and what develops after that even tho how it is achieves seems really weird and the nationalism where all other countries are the enemy seems childish tooAnd the end was just bad, I thought it was a joke when i read "the end" and nothing came out after, it's soo weird how there's suddenly an Apocalypse and they all die and then "oh btw we have a time travelling occupation now, we went back in time to redo ot until we all survived" and then just nothing after that
Reveal SpoilerGreat story, my only wish is that it would have continued. Great premise to a sequel or another volume.
The maths and anything else to do with numbers is awful, there's extremely basic math mistakes made in so many chapters. But other than that it's ok.
It's a really good story kinda disappointed with the ending. there was so much potential in other directions, and that's what it ended on. still worth the really, though.
Definitely some issues with this novel. The MC's rapid rise to the top of the class and the abysmal romance/drama made it one of the worst fictional experiences I've had. It started going downhill around chapter 200 out of 350, and the last 50 were a painful struggle to finish. The ending was even worse, and I've encountered some truly bad endings in my time. The MC felt detached from humanity, and the connection between their reincarnation and the system's existence lacked interest. The romance was atrocious and unnatural, while the author's portrayal of teachers revealed a lack of understanding. Additionally, the story heavily promotes Chinese propaganda and showcases a simplistic dichotomy between the Dragon Empire (China) and the Western Empire (USA). The latter half was marred by nationalism, forgotten characters, rushed plot points, and an abominable ending. Despite the initial promise, this novel ultimately disappointed me.
I enjoyed the book immensely until I reached the ending the ending is hot garbage it basically says the whole time he's a guy from the future going back in time to try and figure out how humanity was saved by an alliance to get the guys legacy it's not even coherent with the story its a complete destruction of it and was a pure excuse of an end because one the writer got writers block or 2 just didn't want to continue the story
Overall I think it was a good story and quite the twist ending there, I did not see that coming at all lol.
The MC character is bipolar. The story panders too much of the home country. It doesn't even fall in the category of patriotism. Many plot holes and less said about the romance section is better.
really like the story. a few issues here and there. I feel like the author might need to go back and edit the first few chapters because when it gets to the alien parts it like we should of known that's why he trans migrated. but the beginning doesn't mention that as the reason.
Reveal SpoilerApparently this has been dropped. It’s marked as “completed”, but that’s just a polite euphemism for “author got bored and ran out of ideas.” There are 25 chapters remaining, but the author wants 2000+ coins to unlock the privilege and I, for one, am not willing to spend $50 for the last, rushed ending of a dropped novel. Shame, really, as I was enjoying this quite a bit and wanted to see where things were headed.
I liked the premise of the story and the direction in which it was haeding, but after chapter 176, where he sleeps with the thot, it was ruined for me. I mean he just confessed his love for the nice girl like 2 chaps earlier he even called her his girlfriend. Also the author of this novel seemingly worships the dao of patriotism. But other than that, the translation is pretty good, chapters are put out regularly and story pacing was pretty ok. -> Story should include NTR and HAREM tags
Reveal SpoilerPositive: - Interesting premise and system Negative: - blind nationalism - Bland characters - Story rushed and poorly grounded in reality One word that describes this novel: disappointment
~~ Completed Read ~~ Yeah, it was a pretty good read besides the anticlimactic ending. Which is not bad if the author opens another book to continue. Otherwise, there was all the buildup just to take the MC nowhere in the end. However, I did enjoy the concept of the whole thing. Despite the ending completely not to my taste, it was not bad. I totally suggest the read as the MC not only takes steps for personal improvement but planetary improvement, and it's a fun read while the MC tries to accomplish that and more. ~~ Completed Read ~~
Reveal SpoilerThugs are going to get interesting as you go along... but in a heavily political way where America (sorry "Sunset Empire")'s top tech owners amd it's ambassadors, reporters attitude and mannerisms are ripped straight out of a Xantia, the evil overloard template. I mean they are possibly not the greatest people, but easily angered narcissistic neanderthals is the default (& so far only) template. Also the retaliation event later on. I don't think the MC whom is considered a genius by that time (or the author), considers what happened in hospitals, doctor's offices and similarly sensitive infrastructure, this is not a good guy by any means(though he is painted as such).
i wish the author would have done some research. in the recent chapters he says that windows, google and apple have a combined worth of a 100 billion ¥. windows alone has a net worth of $2.32 trillion USD, which is 16 trillion ¥.
I have infinite dislike for authors who write about technical topics having absolutely zero experience and understanding of those... Programming is, unfortunately, my cup of tea and what is written about that in this book makes me kek inside... TLDR.: Facial recognition algorithm in 58 lines of legitimate no-library-using code; ten times more efficient than 200 something lines model algorithm...
I loved the concept of this novel the system is amazing and the first fifty chapters or so were so good but unfortunately after that it devolved into nothing but nationalism and face slapping that you normally see in modern day Chinese novels, I kept reading for another hundred chapters or so hoping that it would get back on track but no luck. I sincerely hope that someone makes another novel with a similar system and that it doesn’t devolve into pointless nonsense.
Ok, I finished reading this in raws and the story gets really bad in the second half. It has around 350 chapters and the first 150 are pretty good and seem to be gearing up to become a 1000 chapter novel, but after 200 you start to notice problems. There's a lot of nationalism involved and it was hard to sit through even though I'm used to it at this point. Then after 250, the pacing starts getting really bad and entire plot points set up before are discarded or brushed through casually. Important characters forgotten, author rushes to end the story in one of the worst endings I've seen and I say this having read all kinds of bad endings over the years. I can see why this is pretty popular right now because the first half is decent, but the latter half was terrible.
Reveal Spoilerit's a good novel but is a bit too fast paced the challenges are easier thank expected for the mc.
