Chapter 28: A change that paid off

The counter that Statham created after Christopher's interception was ultimately foiled by Yuri who clenched the ball shot by Franz tightly in his gloves. "Go up!" Yuri said as he shot the ball into the midfield.

Liam used his body to shield the descending ball away from a midfielder before passing it toward Silvestre who came up on the right flank.

30 minutes had already gone in the game and Statham were leading the scoreline by one goal, Silvestre passed the ball back to Liam after a midfielder pressed him.

Isabella made some hand gestures, indicating that the defense should come up a little so the midfielders could press higher.

Liam passed it to Byron and Byron passed it back to Kyle, the attackers hadn't been involved in the game for a while now and even though both Benjamin and Afeez knew the problem they had, neither of them would pass up a chance at goal.

"These bastards," Kyle passed to Mark after Franz pressured him into doing so.
