Chapter 53: Their arrival.
I finished reading through the book rather quickly and decided to leave the library and make some lunch back at the dorms. Fresh, not from my [Spacial storage].
I put the book back in its rightful place among the other books about swords and left the library while checking the time on the clock that hung above the door frame. 13:29.
'Didn't that boy say the strongest students would be arriving about now? I might see them but I'm not really bothered.' I thought to myself as I stepped outside and walked in the direction of the dorms.
I heard a commotion as I passed the front gates of the school.
'That's probably them then.' I thought as I continued walking.
I felt someone rest their gaze on me so I looked over at their direction. It was one of the three people surrounded by a mass of students.
One was a girl that looked about 5'4 and had soft blue hair and blue eyes that were slightly darker than her hair colour. She was in a black dress kind of like mine but was shoulder less. The other girl there had silvery-white hair and wore a white suit. She had frosty light blue eyes and stood at my height, 5'6. Then there was a boy. He had blonde hair and red eyes and he wore a black hanfu. He was 5'9.
'I've got a hanfu just like that. I also have a white one.' I thought as I looked at him.
The person who was staring at me was the girl with silvery-white hair. The other girl was busy trying to get through the crowd while the boy was just absorbing all the attention with a slight grin that I could notice from quite a ways a way.
I stared directly into the girls eyes just as she did to me. I looked away and used [Flash steps] back to the dorms which the girl who was staring at me took slight surprise to.
After I arrived back at the dorms, which was quite quickly, I began to cook some food. A simple dish which was just an omelette. I sat down at the table and began eating my food.
Since today was a day off from school it gave everyone, including teachers, to prepare for the tournament which would be held over the weekend and perhaps through Monday as well. I had minimal knowledge about this event and all I knew was that there was four levels in the tournaments. Rookie, starter, regular and hard. The tournament labelled 'hard' was for the top ranking students or those who wanted to challenge themselves. Rookie was for most students that had to do it and started was for those that could easily pass through the rookie tournament. The regular one however was for anyone who wanted to participate meaning anyone even those who are terrible at fighting and those that were geniuses could fight in that arena.
I wasn't really bothered by the tournaments but I still wanted to do the 'hard' tournaments. I wasn't going to do the rookie tournament which our physical lesson teacher wanted us all to attend since there was no point in me doing so. I would ruin it for the others and it wouldn't even be a challenge. I could take them all on at once and stay in the same spot without a sword and a hand behind my back and still win. Not trying to be rude or anything it's just that they were that bad.
I thought the entrance exams made sure only the 'better' people got in but it seems they are still sub par.
Once I finished eating I left the dorms once again and went to the training rooms I regularly use, indoor training room number 2.

I had just walked in through the gates of Kerose academy with Iris and Jayden and was swarmed with a ton of students. How they had gotten the times we would arrive I have no idea.
'I'm pretty sure every student that was wondering around the school has came here.' I thought to myself as a slight smile appeared on my face.
As always Jayden was seemingly absorbing all the attention and enjoying every moment of it with a silly grin plastered on his face and Iris was just trying to get through everyone and back to the dorms which would be quite easy for use as we are considered the strongest in this school.
I looked through the crowd and they were all asking questions about how we were going to fight in the tournaments or what we did while we were gone while others were just here to get a good look at the 'strongest' of this school.
I noticed someone walk past all of this. She was beautiful. She was 5'6 from what I could tell and had a simple black dress on. Her hair was black like the nights sky and had purple eyes. I had never seen her before so I assumed she was new here but there was no way she was 12 so she must've been older. 14 maybe? She looked well developed and had slight curves so I doubted she was younger.
She noticed me watching her so she turned her head round and met my gaze.
'She knew?'
Her gaze then went to Iris and Jayden before going back to me and then turning away.
'Does she not want to get involved or something?'
After she turned away she seemingly disappeared before appearing 10 metres in front of where she was previously in a split second. She did that a few more times as she headed in the direction of the dorms.
'That.. surprised me.' I thought to myself.
"Hey Mio. Wanna just jump over them all. I can't seem to get them to move out the way. I swear this happens every time." Iris giggled.
"Sure. Just leave Jayden. He'll probably stay for longer seeing that he's enjoying himself so much." I said as Iris and I jumped over the crowd and walked off.
