Imperilment was naturally a very dangerous place. However, these Werewolves navigated it with speed and much ease. 

A good reason was because of their numbers and the techniques they used. 

individually, they all gave out bloody aura's, and as a team, this put off most of the creatures that would want to partake of their flesh. 

It was one of the rules of nature to find strength in numbers. This rule has always existed and was the reason why many animals choose to live together.

Animals usually had an evolutionary fear against anything that was bigger than them. This was both in size and number.

It was for this reason that lions and other Predators of the wild, usually hunted creatures that were left behind in a herd. 

The moment that a Creature was seen exempting themselves from the pack, they became easy picking.
