Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Accident Part 2

"Apply it," Riddle said.

Draco opened the bottle, and the unique sacred atmosphere of the unicorn made Riddle have no doubt about him.

"Lucius is really loyal. These things aren't cheap," Riddle said, seeming to think of something. He praised his servant again.

"Yeah, it's not cheap," Draco said, but Riddle didn't notice the hint of black gloss in the silver blood.

"Wasn't the venom of the basilisk cheap?" Draco looked terrified and suddenly shouted at Hermione.

"Run!" He then took out a small knife that he carried with him and began scratching the diary fiercely.

In the blink of an eye, the delicate black notebook was full of holes and scratches, and the venomous unicorn blood spread all around, seeping into the gaps a little.

Everything happened in an instant.

Riddle was proud and didn't respond at all as he prepared to restore his perfect body. Hermione looked on in shock.

"Damn, you won't escape," Draco said, looking at the dazed Hermione.

"You actually betrayed me." Riddle's solid body suddenly twisted. He struggled, waving his arms nonstop, screaming in his mouth. He looked at his very loyal servant incredulously before looking at him.

"Kill them!" he finally ordered the Basilisk, hissing. Then, after leaving this last sentence, he disappeared, drifting away like a plume of smoke.

With a click, Lockhart's wand fell to the ground, and no one picked it up.

"Are you stupid?" Draco growled at Hermione.

"Hurry up"

The big ups and downs in life are confusing, and no one can make sense of them. The previous Voldemort was so dead that Hermione felt like she was dreaming.

"Close your eyes!" Draco called Hermione because he saw Slytherin's huge stone face moving. Its mouth opened, and the more it opened, the larger a black hole formed.

Something moved in the mouth of the statue.

Something glided up from the depths of the statue.

"Go to Dumbledore! or We'll both die faster!"

Malfoy quickly closed his eyes as the basilisk was about to emerge. People often think that large creatures move slowly, but the basilisk is one of the fastest. Its bright green body glowed with a unique light, and its thick trunk rose high into the air as it wrapped its flat head around a stone pillar, swaying like a drunk.

Suddenly, there was a loud crack above Draco's head and he rolled back to avoid the basilisk. "What are you doing? Do you want to kill us?" Malfoy knew that Hermione had not moved, and guessed that she was scared and frozen with fear.

He heard a hiss in his right ear and something struck the stone pillar beside him.

"Damn it." Malfoy ran towards the sound and the basilisk seemed to know that he was trying to distract it. "Why didn't you learn some calming spells for the basilisk?" Draco regretted not doing so, but now was not the time to think about it.

When the basilisk approached Hermione, she finally recovered and closed her eyes, ready to run backward. But she tripped because of her tension and heard the basilisk's hissing.

'He's not a mysterious person man, so good.' These were her last thoughts as the snake's voice grew louder.

She knew she might die this time and even smelled the basilisk's breath, but the expected pain did not come.

"Open your eyes!" She heard Draco and somehow opened her eyes, despite the basilisk still threatening her life.

"Slap."

Draco slapped her hard and the pain on her face made her more alert. She saw that Draco's other hand had been pierced by the basilisk's fangs and bright red blood was splashing everywhere. The basilisk's teeth were full, but its mouth was still open, supported by something.

"Next time I'll invite Olivander to dinner and praise the quality of his wand." Even in pain, Malfoy couldn't resist making a joke to try and calm Hermione.

"You will die, it's too late." Hermione was terrified by the scene in front of her. "Don't talk nonsense, Dumbledore will have a way," Draco said firmly.

"If you don't leave, it will just drag on. I'll really be dead." Draco tried to make his voice sound weak and raised his still-intact hand to fan Hermione's face again, trying to make her more alert.

"Okay, I'll go right away." Hermione's voice was shaking with tears as she wiped them away and ran out.

"It's good that you're going." Draco breathed a sigh of relief as he watched Hermione leave, then took out the third bottle he had brought with him, and, despite his inability to grasp it well with one hand, he sprinkled its contents over his injured arm.

"I'm really bleeding a lot today." Draco still managed to joke, despite his pain.

But soon he couldn't laugh anymore.

He heard a loud bang and saw that his wand had been completely broken. He even heard a whimper from the wand as the basilisk twisted its body frantically, trying to attack Draco with its tail. Its bite force grew stronger.

"Is it really over?" Draco couldn't help but show a hint of a wry smile as he tried to avoid the basilisk's tail, feeling the increasing pressure on his hand.
