On the Hogwarts Express Train Part 3

"Sister?" Astoria stood up awkwardly.

A twelve or thirteen-year-old girl with curly golden hair stood outside the door, looking somewhat similar to Astoria. However, Astoria had a childish face that gave a gentle feeling, while the girl had a sharp expression.

Daphne Greengrass looked like an angry hen, scanning Jon, who was sitting opposite Astoria, with an unfriendly expression. Seeing Jon in a shirt and jeans, she showed a contemptuous expression before turning her gaze back to Astoria.

"Where did you run off to? Do you know how long I've been looking for you?" she sternly questioned.

"Sister... I..." The girl being questioned seemed somewhat pale. "I lost you when I just got on the platform..."

"Then you should have looked for the conductor or the steward instead of randomly looking for a carriage!" Daphne Greengrass scolded from her high position. She glanced at Jon cautiously as she spoke.

"I'm sorry..."

"You can't just run around. Mother has reminded you many times... She begged Professor Dumbledore to..." Daphne stopped speaking halfway through and glanced at Jon for the third time without continuing.

"I'm sorry..."

Jon had already entered spectator mode. Although he had a good impression of Astoria Greengrass, Daphne's attitude made him a little unhappy. However, since it was a family matter, he didn't want to interfere. So he settled into the role of a bystander.

"Hurry up and pack your things and follow me!" Daphne commanded. "There's still a spot in my private room."

Astoria looked apologetically at Jon before nodding stiffly with her pale little face. "Okay, sister..."

She began to put the things back into her suitcase.

When she was about to close the lid on the open bottle of Coca-Cola that hadn't been drunk yet and put it in the suitcase...

"Astoria! Don't touch that filthy thing that Muggles use!" Daphne Greengrass screamed.

Although Jon behaved well, he couldn't help but frown at this moment.

Astoria's face seemed to become even paler.

"Okay, sister!" However, she didn't dare to disobey her sister's command and put the Coca-Cola back where it was.

Suddenly, a chaotic sound of footsteps came from outside the door, and the door of the compartment was opened once again.

"Excuse me, is there any available seat here? All the other seats are taken!" A girl's voice came from the doorway.

The girl seemed to notice Astoria, who was carrying a suitcase and preparing to leave. "Oh, are you leaving? Can I take your seat?"

She was a very pretty girl with soft reddish-brown hair and brown pupils. More importantly, she didn't seem unfamiliar.

"Oh my god!" Jon, who was just in spectator mode, was almost scared out of his wits.

This was probably the last person he wanted to see on the train: Ginny Weasley.

She was probably looking for Harry and Ron, so she still didn't have a seat. But she didn't know that Harry and Ron had already flown to school in a car.

Traveling on the train with Ginny Weasley, who was already possessed by Voldemort?

That was too scary, considering it was only 11:15 and there was still almost half a day's journey left.

What if he became friends with her and she got excited and made him the first target of the snake monster attack?

Not to mention that Voldemort himself was a master of Legilimency who could perform wandless magic. If he accidentally showed him some follow-up plot, he would be screwed.

Jon took action immediately and had to make sure Astoria stayed, at least he had to persuade Ginny Weasley to leave.

Almost in the blink of an eye, he strode forward and held Astoria's suitcase.

"Um... Miss Greengrass..." He tried to keep his back to Ginny as much as possible, not letting her notice him. "I don't think there's anything wrong with Astoria staying in this compartment, like if she feels unwell, I think I can take care of her..."

"You..." Daphne Greengrass looked at Jon's expression and became even more disgusted.

"Jon... I..." Astoria's pale face turned a little rosy.

Ginny Weasley seemed to think that there was no room in this compartment and turned to leave... which made Jon breathe a sigh of relief.

"Sister... I think I can stay and take care of myself..." Astoria whispered. This was probably one of the few times in her life she went against her sister's will.

"What did you say?" Daphne Greengrass could hardly believe her ears.

She grabbed Astoria Greengrass's hand tightly and then shouted at Jon angrily:

"I... absolutely... will not... let my sister stay in a compartment with a mudblood!"

After saying that, she forcibly pulled Astoria's hand and left.

............

..........

Jon felt his hands trembling slightly.

There are rarely such intense emotions anymore... so angry!

The current emotion is almost exactly the same as back then.

Jon's first thought was to take out his wand and use a Petrification Curse on the other person... but unfortunately, the wand was in his trunk, and by the time he got it out, Daphne was probably already gone.

With a gloomy face, he returned to his seat. Although he had successfully rid himself of Ginny Weasley, he felt no sense of accomplishment whatsoever.

He used his finger to roughly sketch on the table twice. It was now September 1st, and the latitude of the Scottish Highlands was about 56-57 degrees north, with a longitude of about 3 degrees west, and the time zone was Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

So it was simple:

Sunset Time = (180 + Time Zone * 15 - Longitude + (tan(10547π/81000cos(2π(date+9)/365))tan(latitudeπ/180))*180/π) / 15

A quick calculation showed that the sunset time in the Scottish Highlands was about 7:13:40 PM.

According to the original work, the train would not arrive at Hogwarts until after dark.

It was really slow to travel over just over 400 miles for more than eight hours. If they pulled the Harmony Express over, they might even make it to Hogwarts for lunch.

Jon set his alarm clock for 7:10 PM and then lay down on his seat, falling asleep.
