Marcus Cutler POV:

My team and I got back to the garage in the early evening. We got off to a rocky start, especially with Kyle, but I was confident that we would be able to work together. Despite his attitude, Kyle was the professional between us, he wouldn’t let anything jeopardize that Not even me.

The two trucks the Inquisition had brought with them were being packed up as we arrived, and members of the peacekeeping team were loading into them. It wouldn’t be long before we got moving.

Julia and Rob were waiting for me just outside of the garage.

“Get on the truck with the others,” I told Kyle. “I’ll be there shortly.”

Kyle looked between me and Julia, but he only nodded as he led the others away.
