Desmond spent the better part of the early morning hours with Atlas going over everything that happened once he had re-entered The Echo for the last time. The entire duration of their talk, the medium listened intently to everything Desmond explained and waited patiently whenever Desmond started to choke up again. The realization that it had all come to an end hit Desmond hard after he really started to realize where he was. The gravity of what it all meant hadn’t settled in until he woke up alone in Atlas’ apartment.
