Chapter 96: Reconciliation

Several hours pass before Raph insists that they need to stop and rest. Emilia reluctantly lands but immediately goes out into the woods to hunt. Dietrich tries to follow her but Raph stops him. 

"She needs time to calm down. That was a serious accusation you threw at her earlier and from the sounds of it, that wasn't your first offense. Let her hunt in peace." Raph tells him while setting up a small fire. 

"Shouldn't you be chasing after her then? You're her new mate after all, go comfort your woman." Dietrich snorts as he sits down. 

"Dude, chill out. That was a joke. I haven't known Emilia as long as you have, yet even I can see how loyal she is to you. How are you so quick to assume the worst?" Raph asks as he sits opposite of Dietrich.
