A week later and Isagi and Bachira arrive at the Blue Lock base where his fellow teammates are waiting for them.
On the large television in front of them, "Good day, diamonds in the rough. I hope you enjoyed your time off but it's back to business".
"The Japanese football federation have sent us a few guests to join our ropes, they will be training with us for the time being. The goal of this is for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, that will take place in two months."
He continues saying "That is however not the only goal. The boys you'll play with are one or two years younger, it'll be a good way to grow Japanese football. The only reason why none of the strikers were chosen, was because they had upcoming competitions.
"This is the grand stage, diamonds in the rough. I bring to you your new teammates, Inazuma 11", as he says that the door opens beside them showing fifteen boys wearing the blue lock training jersey.
Isagi and Bachira recognize two people out of all of them, being Axel and Mark.
Axel looks at them with eyes of pure hatred, Bachira on seeing this bursts into laughter.
"Bachira!!, behave yourself.Inazuma 11, for the time being I will be your coach. The coach that will lead Japan to the highest peak, starting with our journey to win the U-20 World Cup", Ego says.
"You lot have won the World Championships, congratulations but those childish beliefs should shrivel and die!. Adopt the mentality of a winner, a destroyer, a Striker!!, Ego!!!".
"Put your hearts and souls to the cause!!", The TV then turns off as the room is filled with deafening silence.
The boys go into their separate rooms, Mark begins looking around for Axel.
He goes room by room looking for him as he wanted to practice until he enters a random room.
He opens the door and sees a man with spiky black hair and red eyes. His name, Barou.
He towers over Mark with a menacing aura, he asks "Are you Evans?". He nods nervously.
Barou with a big smile carries Mark on his shoulder then says "I've been eager to test you out".
They head to the pitch where they meet Isagi and Bachira currently watching Axel training.
He fires thunderous shots over and over again before noticing the four boys watching him from behind.
Hey, Axel!!", Mark says while waving his hands.
"Yo Mark, Get over here. I wanna train", Axel replies.
"I'm borrowing your goalkeeper!!, you bastard", Barou yells.
"The fuck are you saying, retard!", he replies.
Barou dashes towards him, dragging his shirt saying "What did you say you bastard!".
"I called you a retard!!",he replies.
The TV turns on for Jinpachi to make another announcement, "Unwashed Gems, I hope you've all settled in to Blue lock dormitory",
"We have given you all numbers based of your ability and randomly separated you all into six teams of five", as he says this the number on the shirts of the blue lock players change.
"You will all compete in a tournament with the same rules as the second selection. That being once a team loses, the winning team takes two players from the losing team.
"In a total knock-out competition, they'll be labelled team A down to team F. Due to there only being six teams, the losing team with the most goals will go through with no players being removed them".
"But sadly there is a catch, any Inazuma Eleven player who loses a match and is not picked will be evicted from the Blue Lock federation".
"Why?!", Mark exclaims.
"Why?, why are we the only ones being removed", Mark questions while pointing to the monitor.
"Why?...what kind of question is that? Blue Lock started with three hundred players but look at how many are left"
A large smile forms on his face as he continues "Do you really think football is fun and games, Evans?! You agreed to it all, your risking it all to become the best!. Competition's a necessity and if you can't handle it, you can pack your bags, leave and cry like a bitch".
"I do commend Inazuma, your football has gotten you high but it can't make you as good as Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo or even Ivan Toney. How do you expect Japan to win against Spain, Argentina on the international level. There is no where else on the planet who can get you to your peak.
Placing his hands on his chest yelling" I can beat my chest and say Blue Lock is the only path to winning the world cup".
"So Evans, will you keep to your childish beliefs or finally dash it away and follow true Football!!", Jinpachi says before the monitor switches to a graph showing all the teams.
Team A consists of :Darren Lachance(Gk),Jude Sharp(MF),Kevin Dragonfly(ST), Chigirl Hyoma(LW) and Rensuke Kunigami(ST).
Team B consists of:Shoei Barou(ST), Ikki Niko(CB), Kenyu Yukimiya(CB), David Samford(MF) and Axel Blaze(ST).
Team C consists of: Hurley Kane (DF), Xavier Foster(MF), Eiyta Otoya(CB), Reo Mikage(RW) and Austin Hobbs(ST).
Team D consists of: Yo Hiori(CB), Scott Banyan(DF), Nathan Swift(MF), Bachira Meguru(MF) and Ryusei Shido(ST).
Team E consists of: Mark Evans (GK), Tabito Karasu(DM), Jyubei Aryu(CB), Isagi Yoichi(ST)and Jack Wallside(DF).
Team F consists of:Shown Frost(DF), Archer Hawkins(DF), Gin Gagamaru(GK), Nagi Seishiro(MF) and Itoshi Rin(Mf).
"Wait I'm on the same team as this white-haired bastard?! This must be a joke", Barou says.
A loud hush is heard from the monitor as Jinpachi comes back on screen. "Quiet Barou, the teams were picked completely randomly, I don't want to hear any complaints. Due to the shortage of goalkeepers, each team will have the ability to loan anyone evicted player for a match if the player's, it may not be ideal but we don't have much of a choice".
"Matches start tomorrow with this being the current schedule", as the monitors switch to a panel.
