"Director!" Fannon appeared, offering a slight bow to Mr. Ichirou.

Turning to face Fannon, I finally grasped the truth. "You were pretending to be a supervisor when you're actually the Director?"

Maintaining his gentle smile, Mr. Ichirou responded, "I prefer to get to know the new soldiers on a personal level. It's easier for them to open up to me when I don't flaunt my title."

The revelation left me with mixed emotions, realizing that the man I had confided in was not only intimately connected to the Designer but also held a significant position within the organization.
