Shock

Jack meticulously reviewed the test data, making adjustments as needed. With his ability to control his muscles, hormones, and nerve activity, he could manipulate his physical condition to perfection. The testing process continued until he reached the human limit, which he memorized with his powerful memory. This allowed him to effortlessly return to that optimal state whenever needed.

In essence, the physical examination report received by Doctor, Jasmine and the others was indeed from Jack, but it was also a report that Jack had actively manipulated.

This strategy not only showcased his extraordinary abilities but also prevented him from being subjected to further scrutiny in a laboratory setting. While he wasn't concerned about physical threats in this world, adhering to a harmonious coexistence model facilitated the execution of his plans.

However, ensuring everything went smoothly was paramount. Therefore, Jack reviewed his own physical examination report to double-check.

Regarding his blood, hair, and other samples... Jack previously mentioned that once separated from his body, they would return to their normal state. While he didn't fully understand the Jaegernism behind this phenomenon, he speculated it involved some sort of mysterious protective Jaegernism. Due to the limited information available, he made a note of it in his small notebook for future reference.

Jasmine chuckled awkwardly, knowing full well he couldn't believe Jack's explanation.

"Where should I go for my residence and office laboratory?" Jack inquired, shifting the conversation away from his physical examination.

Jasmine swiftly took him to arrange accommodations, a research room, and an office, all meticulously prepared in advance. Jack's official Jaeger designer certificate would be issued the following day.

While Jack didn't particularly care about these luxuries, having experienced various scenes and identities over the years, he appreciated the gesture.

You can splurge in lavish hotels or opt for a humble bowl of sweet tofu pudding from a street vendor.

By the time everything wrapped up, night had fallen. Jack used the pretext of needing rest to politely dismiss the eager Jaeger designers who had gathered at his doorstep, finally granting himself a moment of respite.

Jack empathized with their enthusiasm, but he wasn't here to play the role of perpetual mentor. While he could offer guidance when needed, he wasn't obliged to be at their beck and call indefinitely. Learning is a journey without end, with questions forever awaiting answers.

Meanwhile, in Robert's office...

"What did you say?" Robert's confusion was palpable as he looked at Jasmine. "Are you absolutely certain you haven't mixed up the reports? Could you have mistakenly taken someone else's?"

"I swear, I personally reviewed each item. After the ground test, the doctor handed me the examination report!" Jasmine asserted firmly. "This report undoubtedly belongs to him."

"So, let me get this straight: a genius Jaeger designer is also a proficient Jaeger pilot, a member of the military, and potentially capable of independent piloting nerve pressure?" Robert's disbelief was evident. "It sounds like something out of a fairy tale!"

"Indeed, it's already been quite fantastical, and now it's become even more so..." Jasmine mused, somewhat resigned to the extraordinary.

"But, if you think about it, certain aspects start to make sense," Robert pondered. "You mentioned his impressive breadth of knowledge and learning ability. Such prowess at his age is almost unfathomable, right?"

"Exactly."

"In that case, his brain must operate differently from the norm... I mean, exceptionally intelligent with heightened neural activity, which would explain his remarkable abilities!" Robert's reasoning grew more convincing with each word.

"So, the doctor's assessment of his suitability for solo Jaeger piloting is plausible?" Jasmine sought clarification.

"Yes! It all falls into place!" Robert nodded.

"What about his physical condition?" Jasmine pressed further.

"I'm not entirely sure..." Robert scratched his head. "Did you inquire about his fitness regimen?"

"I did, but his response..." Jasmine sighed, recounting Jack's regimen of "100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10,000-meter run."

"That's it?" Robert rubbed his chin. "It sounds deceptively simple, but could it really yield such remarkable results? Have you consulted the doctor?"

"Actually, this is reminiscent of a cultivation method from an anime, so I'm more inclined to believe he's joking," Jasmine remarked.

"Maybe?" Robert mused, furrowing his brow in thought.

"What?" Jasmine paused, then caught on. "You want to give it a try?"

"It's a form of training after all, harmless to attempt... How many people are you thinking of recruiting to try it out?" Robert proposed. "What if... it's true?"

"That makes sense," Jasmine agreed, considering the possibility.

What if... it's true?

The following day,

Jack delved straight into the laboratory, utilizing the holographic projector and supercomputing system to design the Jaeger.

Designing a Jaeger is an immense undertaking.

A Jaeger standing at forty to fifty meters tall must cater to the pilot's nervous system, ensuring synchronized operation while maintaining stability amidst impacts of hundreds or thousands of tons!

Jaeger are meant for hand-to-hand combat with monsters!

These are merely the fundamental aspects!

Additionally:

Life support - shock absorption, radiation protection, heat, oxygen, and more.

Operating systems - CNC, fast response, durability.

Material structure - flexibility, tensile strength, compression, bending, shear, and torsional forces, among others.

The list goes on and on...

For an individual to complete a Jaeger design independently is deemed impossible by conventional standards!

Unless they're a true "genius"!

Jack's hands worked tirelessly, materializing the Jaeger model he had envisioned... This was a creation conceived solely by him, not borrowed from any system.

However, this didn't imply that Jack's Jaeger design was ordinary.

On the contrary, it would far surpass any Jaegers within the entire "Pacific Rim" universe!

After all, Jaeger technology in the Pacific Rim world was still in its infancy, riddled with loopholes and inadequacies.

Though Jack possessed only basic Jaeger designer knowledge, it was comprehensive!

Evening arrived.

Opening the laboratory doors, Jack found Jasmine, who had been anxiously waiting outside for quite some time.

"Don't fret so much. Jaeger design isn't something one person can solve in a single day," Jasmine reassured. "Despite your excellent health, remember to take breaks. Working tirelessly for an entire day isn't good for your well-being..."

"I'm finished," Jack interjected.

"So there's no need to worry... huh?" Jasmine began, but halted mid-sentence when realization dawned.

"I've completed the Jaeger design," Jack announced. "The delay was due to issues with the basic modeling and calculation processes of the holographic projection equipment. I had to hack into the system and make modifications, which consumed a considerable amount of time... I hope you don't mind."

"Of course... we don't mind," Jasmine replied automatically, then quickly added, "Have you really done?"
