RAVEN
Staring at the man in the doorway, I was met with Tony himself. His chest heaved with heavy breaths and my heart was pounding a mile a minute. I was never getting out of here, was I? I was destined to be trapped here forever, surrounded by men like him.
For a moment, I had thought Adriano had found me, but now I knew it was a false hope. The more my ideas were shot down, the more I lost faith and confidence in gaining freedom. How much longer could I handle all of this? How much more did I have to endure before Adriano reached me?
Should have signed the thing… should have signed the thing…
The words continued to ramble in my head as I realized I was in deep water. Tony stepped off to the side, and two of his men walked inside to grab my arms. They placed silver duct tape over my mouth to keep me quiet and took me down to the stairs, dragging me down them and to the basement.
