Chapter 12: A date to my mum but a friendly outing to me.

Daniel POV

I was late. I had so many appointments that time passed by without my notice. My time read 9:30pm, I can be an arse sometimes.

"Cancel all my appointments tomorrow and book for a large bouquet of flowers", I addressed my assistant as we made our way to the reception.

As I lay that night in bed, I mentally rephrased a speech that would be convincing enough for Marian to give me a second chance. How could it skip past me? If I wanted to reap the seeds I had sowed I had to remember tiny details even if it included a date with Marian.

It's a beautiful Saturday morning. I just hope things take a beautiful turn as well. I held onto the flowers as I patiently waited for Marian to come downstairs.

"Marian was so disappointed yesterday, what went wrong?", Mrs Miller said as she descended the stairs and sat before offering me a seat as well.

"I am so sorry for the delay. I know I have no right for excuses but I had an impromptu meeting, you know how things may turn up".
