Chapter 10: A Diamond in Mud

Renny looked at the stair, she had never expected that the stair in her house could be so terrifying. The stairs seemed too high, too deep, and shaking. Renny froze at the edge of the stair. Her heart was rumbling so fast that her fingers felt cold.

[Oh, God. I'm so nervous.] Renny closed her eyes, her shoulders moving up and down. As long as she life, she had never seen the figure of the King, Queen, and Prince of this country directly. And now she was going to marry her Prince. What dream did Renny have last night?! Was she so lucky or bad luck? Renny was afraid that the King would sentence her to death if Renny did something wrong.

"Are you okay, My Lady?" Sasha's voice made Renny wake up from her reverie.

"Are you ready now, My Lady?" Sasha held Renny's hand.

"Yes, I'm ready," answered Renny after gulping her saliva several times. Renny tried to smile, but the corners of her lips curled up because they were a little forced.

"Let's go then." Shasa smiled warmly.

Thump!! (Renny's heartbeats sound)

Renny went down the stairs one by one, in rhythm with the sound of her heart about to jump out. Her hands felt very cold, this was much tenser than when the teacher called her forward to do an impromptu quiz. Renny suffocated like the air was betraying her.

Jayden raised his head to take a quick glance at his future life partner. He was amazed, Renny truly looked very beautiful. Jayden chuckled softly, admiring how beautiful the girl he had chosen was. Inside his heart, Jayden was screaming happily, indeed his choice was never wrong, a diamond would still be a diamond even if it was buried in the mud.

With only a few more steps, Renny could already see the ground floor of the first floor of her house. Renny straightened her body more to down the rest of the stairs like Kayla's lesson. The lesson was to be as graceful as a goddess. but... Renny had not fully mastered the lesson of body movements to make her look elegant. Renny still looked very stiff when walking.
