Chapter 20: Too loud
Meanwhile, at Jin Hospital.
The patients' family and friends were roaming around the hospital while the doctors were aiding the injured and ill people.
And in the crowded hall stood three little heads, they were trying to make their way toward the reception office.
Miss Si had sent her bodyguards and servant away like she used to. It wasn't to give them some free time, but for Si Ruan and her mother to have some intimacy.
Her mom was a terminally ill patient, and because of her poor background, the Si family disdained her. Even her husband didn't care about her, he only felt that she was a burden to him and choose to hang around with countless mistresses. Was it not for Si Ruan's doting grandfather, her mom would already be dead without treatment.
However, as they were only three little children, it was quite difficult to walk all the way without getting knocked on.
"Hiss", Li Sha fell straight on her butt as she was ruthlessly pushed by the crowd.
"Sha!!", her brother's worried voice rang as he quickly held her hand to help her stand up. His eyes flashed with anger as he glared at the man who pushed his frail little sister.
The man met his gaze and felt uneasy for a while before stabilizing his emotions and shouting loudly while attracting everyone's attentions.
"Look here brat, you're blocking my master's way with your smelly body!!", he said while pinching his noise in disgust.
Furrowing his brows, Li Shin remembered that although they were wearing new and clean clothes, their faces were still covered by dirt, and they were ended smelly. The Li Siblings regretted not washing up after killing so many spiritual beasts along the way down the mountain.
The beasts' blood was indeed filthy and should be washed quickly afterwards. They should have listened to their mommy's words. She would always force them to bath after playing around.
"Told you", Li Sha who have thought about it long ago retorted to his dark and embarrassed face. She knew that they had to take a bath. So, she prepared the necessary before going down, but Li Shin thought that it would only weight on them, so he decided to abandon it in the forest.
"I'm sorry, can you stop now?", he replied with red eyes, he seemed aggrieved by his sister's scolding.
Li Sha noticed her brother's teary eyes and felt guilty, her eyes turned warmer and she quickly patted his fluffy hair.
The reason they didn't like taking baths was not because they liked to stay filthy.
It was because, back then in the manor, the person who would bath them would be uncle Jiro, this damn clean freak.
At first, their mommy was the one who would bath them, since they were only two years old and could hardly do it themselves in the past, but later on, it became their uncle, the very same person who would always order the servants to wash the manor three times a day.
It was all because they once knocked on their mommy's jar of peanuts jam. she was furious. So, she punished them.
After a year, they were able to wash alone. But after all this hurdle, they kept the habit of escaping from their bath time.
"Alright, don't cry. Big sis will protect you", she said as she recalled her mom telling her that family should be pampered. Her brother was her family. So, she should pamper him too.
Nodding mentally at her logical thought, she took a hold of her brother's hand and pulled him against her domineeringly before glancing at the people in front of her with cold and unyielding eyes.
Si Yuan who was going to intervene gasped at the scene while thinking with a pounding heart: 'How cool!! Can I ship them together? No, no!! Ah shin is mine!! Ahh!! but they are so good and beautiful!! Sigh, I have a long way to go, seems like I will have to ask sister Sha to teach me the way to pamper a man!!'
Unaware of Si Yuan strange and floating thoughts, Li Sha pressed her brother even further against her and spoke in the coldest tone to the woman whose arrogance was filling the whole lobby.
"Making my brother cry, do you want to die?", her protective and aggressive stance stunned the crowd surrounding them.
The woman wearing designer clothes froze before clenching her fist in anger, and while looking disdainfully at the kids, she told them in a condescending tone: "Still young yet threatening people in broad daylight? Should I call the police?"
Laughing coldly, Li Shin who was still nestled in his sister's arms said: "Then, go ahead"
They weren't afraid at all as their uncle Shi told them that if they someday met someone who kept offending them, they could just crush them to death, and then let their uncles take care of the aftermath. And their mommy seemed to agree with uncle Shi.
They were so powerful, so why not use their power against shameless people? wasn't it just a waste if they didn't?
However, before they could make a move, a sudden broad and large back faced them.
"W-Who?", the arrogant woman and her follower muttered before fixing their gazes at the man's tall and perfect body. The man was looking at them with a heavy and cold gaze. His eyes were bloodshot as if he had just woken up from his sleep. His veins were bulging on his head as he gently held a bag of peanuts in his hands. His murderous aura was heavy and filled with bloodlust making the others shivering in fear. He seemed quite annoyed and utterly frustrated.
"Too loud", his voice was like a hammer knocking them and sentencing them to a painful death.
Behind him, the two children were looking at the cold yet broad back protecting them. and they felt their eyes stung as longing filled their tiny hearts.
The large shoulders were like a shield protecting them from harm.
Would it feel this way if they had a strong daddy? Their daddy whom they had never met.
