The Outside World
"Did you hear?", a blond and foreigner girl dressed in a servant's attire spoke to her follow worker with excitement laced in her voice, who would have thought that a famous designer would be a gossipy woman.
"What?", the other party was a beautiful and stunning black woman, she was an award-winning actor and a gold medal composer with a mysterious background.
"The boss has lost the 'key', the high-ranking members are currently all searching for it!", the people working in the manor were all ranked according to their status, and the two women were actually from a low rank, they were like a slime in a boss ranking village.
The 'key' she was talking about so excitedly was actually the key to the most mysterious hall in the manor, even the young masters were forbidden from entering, only the five disciples of the Madam were allowed there. "Shush! You are too loud!", the blond woman looked from all sides before sighing with relief, "It happened the day before when the Madam was playing with the young masters!", she affirmed as if she was there and saw it with her own eyes.
"And they still have not found it?", she asked back, eyes sparkling with a gossipy fire.
The blond woman nodded hurriedly before noticing a chubby and small figure around the corner. She abruptly closed her mouth and tugged at her friend before saying nervously: "Young miss, is there anything I can help you with?"
Li Sha blushed and quickly shook her head before rushing towards her room.
"Did she hear us?", the black woman asked.
The blond woman looked toward the end of the corridor that was now empty, she chuckled and replied: "I hope so"
Once Li Sha left, a cold and dignified woman spoke: "Good job, I will talk to WM studio about your new song, Q group will also open a new design studio, you will be the manager", the woman said to the two workers before living without making any noise.
On the young master's floor, the young Li Sha rushed toward her brother before pulling him to the garden.
"Sha?", Li Shin asked puzzled by her sudden actions.
"Let's go, we have to find it! If we do, we can sneak outside to see the world!!"
"What are you talking about sis?", the young boy was even more puzzled, but when his ears caught the word 'outside' and 'sneak', his eyes were already shining mischievously.
After arriving at the garden, she squatted and searched for the golden key while explaining everything to her silly brother.
When he heard everything, Li Shin began searching with her amidst the lush trees and flowers.
A few hours passed and they almost abandoned midway a few times.
"Sha, are you sure they were talking about that key? I can't believe mom would lose such an important thing", the girl pouted upon hearing her brother, she was sure they were talking about that key, but now, she began to doubt it too.
"Maybe you didn't hear correctly, it's alright, let's go back now, mommy should be waiting for us, if we stay here too long, won't she be worried?", his voice rang, he was going to continue but stopped when he saw his sister looking in a daze at the ground.
Following her gaze, he caught sight of a golden and majestic key, the same key his mother would carry around her neck.
It was time for dinner, and after reuniting with Su Jin and hugging her tightly, they ate and talked happily about their day.
"I was busy today so I didn't have time to play with you, I will make it up to you later", Su Jin patted their heads tenderly, they were her little angels, her pride.
"Love you mommy!", the boy hung on her and cuddled in her arms, Li Sha tugged at her mom's casual shirt with red cheeks and sparkly eyes, "Mommy, can you feed me?", she asked bashfully.
Su Jin ordered the head servant to serve the dishes before putting the two children on her lap. Although they were still small, it was actually quite difficult to put them both on her knees, but she still managed to do so.
"Alright, let's eat", she fed her children the food bit by bit and couldn't help but remember when they were still newborn babies, she had to feed them milk at the same time as they didn't eat if the other wasn't eating too, although it was tiring, their lovely and contented smiles were worth it.
After dinner, she took them toward their bedrooms and tucked them in after reading them a story and singing a night-time song.
She stared at their sleeping faces before kissing their foreheads and going out, she walked outside and closed the door.
The twins opened their eyes and smiled mischievously, they tip-toed toward the door and stuck their ears against it to listen to the surrounding noises.
They heard nothing, so they took their small cute backpacks and rushed toward the mysterious hall.
It wasn't far as it was situated near their mother's bedroom for convenience's sake.
After a few minutes, they arrived in front of the door which was unlike the others, just made of wood, however, they knew that opening the door without the key was impossible, because their mother used spiritual energy to strengthen it.
They were aware of it as they had learned since their first birthday how to absorb the Qi energy surrounding them, they remembered that when Su Jin discovered their achievements, she praised them and taught them the basics exercises to improve their internal cores, of course, they were far from reaching their mother's level as they had yet to learn how to use their Qi in a practical way.
The door lock opened without making a sound and the two-figures entered hurriedly. A few meters behind them was a good-looking woman, she was lazily leaning against the wall, her squinted eyes followed theirs every moves.
'Naughty brats", she thought dotingly.
"Master, are you sure about it?", Yun asked Su Jin in low voice as to not alarm the sneaky-children.
"I am, it's time for them to discover the world", her voice carried a hint of sadness, her four years old babies were growing up, and they were already jumping around and trying to fly.
She still remembered how heavy they weighed when they were still in her womb, how their tiny faces were flushed when they were just born, the small hands that would clutch her fingers tightly. Her Sha was a cute baby with a round face, the birthmark, 'or was it a mole?' in the corner of her eyes like hers was glaring red. Her Shin, although still a baby had handsome features, was bound to be popular with girls in the future, he also had a red birthmark on his chest near his collarbone, just like her puppy-like man.
Sighing heavily, she heard the portal opening, her small babies jumped in it and disappeared from her sight. Silence filled the manor.
"I'm taking some vacations anyway", Su Jin stated, now that she had taken care of everything here, and had expanded her network and businesses, she didn't necessarily have to work as she had managers and disciples to take care of it. Now that everything was alright, she still remembered the promise she made when she reincarnated in this body.
'It's time to settle the debts, I'm going to make you crazy, and let you see how you will all slowly lose everything you cherish.', she chuckled.
"Yun, prepare everything, tomorrow, I am going to play outside for some time"
The girl hesitated before asking: "What if Shin and miss Sha decide to find their father?"
Su Jin froze, before replying: "They can try. I can't find him too, so it's impossible for them to find him."
Yun nodded in understanding before leaving.
Su Jin stared at the wooden door for a while. Her children were her flesh and blood, they were outstanding, just like her, thus she was sure they would overcome the harsh world outside.
So, she didn't worry, it was time for them to learn and improve as they were her future successors.
This outing was their official training, and the world outside Mount Shan was their training ground.
Sighing again, she still admitted that she was missing them, and the manor that used to be filled with sweet giggles was now awfully quit.
In the midnight light, was a lone woman staring dazedly at a closed door.
The light shone on her peerless face, and the eerie silence weighed on her heart.
It was a languid and suffocating silence.
