Chapter 5: The Shen sisters
Silence filled the room as they stared at each other, until a tired sigh broke it.
"You don't believe me, do you?", the girl's voice was cold yet filled with ridicule. If someone once told her that ghosts were real, she would have taken them for fools.
"I don't.", the injured man replied firmly, he was not the kind of person who would believe in supernatural beings.
She snorted coldly upon hearing him, anyway, he was stuck in this place with her for now, and there was plenty of time to make him believe in it.
Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted when the door of the ward was pushed open, and her 'dear' sister entered the room.
"He is sleeping.", the relieved voice sounded as a beautiful girl, with straight long hair and an innocent face with deer like eyes, watched the sleeping beauty like a hungry wolf.
The ghost girl's eyes narrowed as she noticed the man's fast reaction, it seemed like he wasn't just a pretty face.
'How interesting.'
The intruder, Shen qiao, walked carelessly toward the bed as if she wasn't afraid of waking him up and tore open her t-shirt revealing a sexy bra underneath.
Shen jin stared at her sister in disgust, and although she was used to it, as Shen qiao has done this countless times over the years, Shen jin was still wishing she could recover her human body to give her a punch.
After her disappointing life, could she not have peace even after dying? did she have to hear those disgusting noises?
To make sure the man was really unconscious, she slapped the man's belly fiercely. And right now, with eyes filled with greed, she looked more like a hooligan than the top socialist of the county.
The silence reassured her and she smirked lustfully.
"It seems like the drug worked."
Shen jin was even more disgusted, they dared to use her precious drugs worth millions on such a thing? Her drug was really efficient as she has just created it, and nobody could easily develop immunity. But this was not the most horrid thing, it's that as a ghost who is fated to stay in this room forever, she had seen her sister using the unconscious men's bodies like toys and she actually enjoyed it.
Shen qiao grinned and she reached to untie the man's shirt, when a hand intercepted hers midway, Shen qiao flinched as cold and murderous eyes glared at her.
"You are not asleep?! How is it possible??", her shocked yelling voice sounded.
'Shit, I told mom that we should use that bitch's drug again, although she is a fool, she really knows how to obtain this kind of things using her body, hah! What a shameless slut!!'
The man frowned and muttered annoyed: "how noisy"
Shen qiao regained her composure and suddenly said: "It doesn't matter anyway, I'm sick of playing with unresponsive people, I will just ask brother Nan to kill you later."
She licked her lips lecherously as her eyes darted all over her body until she reached his handsome face.
Crack.
her wrist broke when he exerted slight pressure with his hand.
Shen qiao cried in pain, and tried to free her hand from him.
An amused and delighted chuckle rang in his ears making him look at the beautiful girl's face which was a few inches away from his, and he was sure that if she was 'normal', he would be able to sense her hot breaths on his skin.
He frowned, 'too close', and suddenly spoke to Shen qiao.
"Can you see her too?"
"Let me go!!", she cried until she noticed his demonic face, Shen qiao was sure that if she didn't comply to whatever he said, she would die.
Her aggrieved face looked toward where he was pointing and only saw dried flowers in a vase.
"w-who?"
"The girl", the man stared at her like she was a fool.
"Hey, I have already told you, till now you are the first who could see me.", Shen jin told him playfully.
"There is just a flower there.", Shen qiao's trembling voice rang.
Disbelief flashed in the man's eyes.
'Maybe they are accomplice, but then why can't I touch her?'
"Can you let me go now? Do you know who I am? A small fry like you dares to touch me!!", Shen qiao said arrogantly now that the man's face seemed less frightening now that he was looking at the flower in a daze.
Regaining his senses, the man flung her away, and she fell straight on her face, her noise bleeding.
"My face!!", Shen qiao cried in hatred and wanted to smash everything in the room until the sharp pain on her wrist reminded her that just now, she was the man's hostage.
Glaring fiercely at him, Shen qiao said in a tone she thought domineering.
"How dare you! The Shen family will not let you off!!"
Meeting his cold and dark eyes, she flinched in fear and stormed off the room.
